The Iranian Graphic Designer Network, founded in 2005, was among the first professional sites in Iran. They count 249 professional graphic artists as members and provide new opportunities to 18000 artists. Among its initiatives are free weekly workshops for its members and associated graphic artists, teaching graphic software to members, and a career opportunities service. The IGDN lends aid to various charity organisation including the children's cancer organisation in Iran.
The network provides a searchable directory of graphic designers, particularly useful for lesser known members. The directory is available to non-members from around the world. Given an increase in activity, they hope to expand their activities through their International Committee to provide services and build relations abroad
